Yesterday at noon a fifty-year-old man was arrested for stealing over 500, 000 pounds from people with whom he made transactions on one of the most popular auction website. The man attempted to sell gold bullion on the internet. The gold didnt exist; the man only placed some photos of gold bullion on his profile and added several positive comments to it, allegedly form previous customers. The man actually owned several accounts on this website. Thirteen people phoned the police to complain that they paid money for the gold but didnt receive it. The man was arrested as he was trying to leave for the USA. He was just about to board a plane to San Francisco when a suspicious amount of money was found in his bag. The police of London immediately checked whether he was the person they had been searching and then charged the man with the theft. The profile, along with the photos of gold gold bullion have been deleted from the website. More reports of theft are expected to appear, as it turned out the man was hiding more money in the cellar of his house. The police warn anyone not to buy bullion bars or any other valuables from unknown sources. If you have ordered something and cant contact the seller, please call 112.
